United Airlines is adding a 3rd daily nonstop flight between Boise and Los Angeles, CA, to be operated by United Express (SkyWest Airlines), beginning September 21st, 2014 and ending on October 24th, 2014. The flight is now bookable through united.com, with a schedule as follows:
UA 6498; Dept: 1025, Arrive: 1133; CRJ-200
UA 6461; Dept: 1610, Arrive: 1718; CRJ-200*
UA 5630; Dept: 2015, Arrive: 2129; CRJ-200
UA 6506; Dept: 0815, Arrive: 1122; CRJ-200
UA 6461; Dept: 1230, Arrive: 1537; CRJ-200*
UA 5247; Dept: 1635, Arrive: 1936; CRJ-200
United Express has flown this route twice daily since its introduction in 2006, with exception to a brief period where it was operated as four-times daily for the 2013-2014 holiday season. All flights will be operated by SkyWest Airlines, using 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets.
It’s kind of a curious addition, as this is typically a slower time of year for travel, and it only appears in the schedule for a month.
